Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information Salsa processes, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Scope
This policy explains how Salsa handles personal information when you use our website, create an account, connect a channel, or use our lead-signal discovery service. It does not govern third-party services that have their own privacy policies.
Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information. Your email address, name, profile image, locale, authentication details, and account activity.
- Product information. The product website you submit, public pages found on that website, and the product profile, target customers, languages, and search plan you create or edit.
- Connected-channel information. The provider account ID, username, permissions, token expiry information, and encrypted access credentials needed to maintain a connection you authorize.
- Lead and search information. Search queries, search run activity, matching public posts, usernames, post links, our assessment of product fit and buying intent, and your lead reviews.
- Technical information. Request, device, browser, network, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to:
- create and secure your account;
- discover and maintain your editable product profile;
- generate search plans, search authorized channels, qualify potential leads, and show the results to you;
- maintain channel connections and refresh credentials;
- monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use; and
- communicate with you about the service.
AI-assisted processing
Salsa uses AI systems to analyze the public product pages you ask us to review, prepare search plans, and assess whether public channel content shows relevant buying intent. Automated output may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you should review it before acting on it.
Security and retention
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. Provider credentials are kept server-side and encrypted at rest; Salsa does not send them to your browser. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide and secure the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary with the type of information and why we process it. We may retain de-identified information where it can no longer reasonably identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can update product and search-plan information in Salsa and disconnect a channel from the Channels area. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
International processing
Salsa and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
Children
Salsa is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Salsa evolves. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Salsa through the support contact made available in the service.
